Tuesdays with Dorie - Pumpkin Muffins

I'm not usually a huge pumpkin fan, but I decided to give these a try. The pumpkin flavor is very subtle, and keeps the muffins very moist. I made half with raisins and half without, and I am glad I did that. I did not like the raisins, but my husband did, so who knows...

I would definitely make these again (no raisins), and they make me think of fall (even though it's still 85ยบ here in Texas).

Yeah, 85 degrees makes it difficult to think fall. I had frost on my windshield already, so it's no problem for me! It sounds like these were a winner too, with and without raisins.

I hear ya, living in Hawaii, I always struggle at this time of year with the warm weather during these holidays. Growing up in Iowa, I am used to very distinct seasons. But for me, I'll eat pumpkin anytime!

We actually had snow in our forecast for last night! I don't think it happened but it sure got cold! I would love to send a little nip your way. lol I only like snow at Christmas. Then it can be gone.

you should try these with craisins! :) maybe you'd both like them then?
